Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, located in Harlem, New York, is looking to hire a full- time physician (DO or MD) as Director of ECE & Medical Simulation,reporting to the Chairman of the Department of Primary Care.

Major focus will be towards teaching the Early Clinical Experience (ECE) delivered to second year students and participating in other department courses and initiatives.

The ECE course teaches the necessary skills that will serve as a bridge between didactic information and the clinical arena.

The course will develop the students skills with particular emphasis on the history and physical examination and clinical decision making.

The clinical content will place emphasis on primary care medicine as it relates to the maintenance of health and treatment of disease.

A minimum of two years experience in academic medical school setting is recommended.

Demonstration  of  leadership  skills  including  the  ability  to  motivate  and  inspire leading to a culture of collaboration amongst students, faculty and staff.
